Xander Simunek, DVM

Dr. Simunek found his true calling in veterinary medicine after initially earning a degree in Economics from New York University in 2008 and exploring a variety of entrepreneurial interests. A long-held love for animals ultimately led him to pursue his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University, graduating in 2018. Since then, he has dedicated his career to providing comprehensive, high-quality care to pets in Fairfield County—most recently serving as Medical Director at Greenwich Animal Hospital.

When he’s not in the clinic, Dr. Simunek loves traveling to unique destinations, exploring the outdoors, and spending time on the water with his three dogs—Billy, Penny, and Sushi.
