Xander Simunek, DVM

Dr. Simunek found his true calling in veterinary medicine after initially earning a degree in Economics from New York University in 2008 and exploring a variety of entrepreneurial interests. A long-held love for animals ultimately led him to pursue his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University, graduating in 2018. Since then, he has dedicated his career to providing comprehensive, high-quality care to pets in Fairfield County—most recently serving as Medical Director at Greenwich Animal Hospital.

Camille Alanano – Hospital Manager

Camille is proud to serve as the Hospital Manager at Core Vet Animal Hospital. With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Health Promotion and over 10 years of veterinary experience, Camille has dedicated her career to creating a warm, welcoming environment for pets, their families, and her team.

She has worked closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure smooth daily operations while keeping patient care at the heart of everything she does. Known for her approachable leadership, kindness, and teamwork, Camille is committed to fostering a positive culture and maintaining the highest standard of service excellence at Core Vet.

Outside of work, Camille enjoys exploring local restaurants, staying active with new activities, and relaxing with her two cats, Tasha and Layla.

Lindsay Carlucci – Lead Technician

Lindsay has been working in veterinary medicine for over five years and earned her associate’s degree in veterinary technology.

She has always loved animals and grew up with her own pets, which inspired her passion for caring for them. Lindsay loves working at Core Vet because it allows her to make a difference in animals’ lives and the people who love them.

Outside of work, Lindsay enjoys Pilates, going out to eat—especially when pasta is involved—and spending time with her family, friends, and her cat, Phebie.

Yuliya Klymyk – Client Service Representative

Yuliya joined Core Vet Animal Hospital with a lifelong love for animals and a passion for exceptional client care. A graduate of the University of Connecticut with a degree in Communications, she brings a strong background in customer service and a genuine dedication to making every client and patient feel welcome from the moment they arrive.

She loves getting to know each pet’s unique personality and building lasting relationships with families throughout the Stamford community. Known for her kindness, attention to detail, and calming presence, Yuliya helps ensure every visit is smooth, personal, and stress-free. At home, she’s a proud cat mom to Olive, a black domestic shorthair, and Avery, a blue point Siamese.
